The PTA at St Michaels has been supporting the school for over 20 years in fundraising and event hosting . Our current PTA is made up of any parents who have children in the school or nursery. We meet on a monthly basis to discuss , organise and plan events , alongside the school and teachers .
In recent years our fundraising has enabled the school to purchase the Trim trail climbing equipment ,the statue of our Lady Mary and numerous books to support the changing curriculum . Each year the PTA purchase all school leavers , a bible to take with them on their journey into secondary school. A recent trip to the cinema to watch Paddington Bear and our 50th Birthday celebrations were both supported by the PTA.
Fundraising events such as cake sales, discos and our annual summer fair take place throughout the school calendar and we are always seeking new opinions , ideas and friends to help support our work. Meeting times are advertised through the school via letters and the text messaging system , all are welcome to attend and we look forward to welcoming you at our next meeting.
